“I have been fishing all my life experiencing different techniques from the docks, deep sea, bank fishing, and lake fishing. Each area comes with different techniques in fishing. Fishing from a drift boat was a whole new experience. With Leldon as a guide on the McKenzie River it was a memorable experience. Leldon was very patient, courteous, and took his time to show us techniques to catch the fish. He was never in a hurry and stopped along the river at different fishing holes to increase the odds of getting a catch. He never gets frustrated when you snag a tree instead of the fish! He retrieves the line, sets it all up, and away you go. I highly recommend Leldon as a fishing guide for individuals or groups with his knowledge of the McKenzie and the patience of an angel to teach others how to fish.”

At one point we switched to fly fishing and I got some tips on how to mend the line which got us more fish on hooks.
